Answers:
Well, number one, a foley catheter is going to make you feel like you have to pee, no matter what!.
And as far as having the full bladder but not being able to go, sometimes, during childbirth, the meds given to the mom paralyze the sphincter inside the urethra, making it unable to open when the brain tells it to, therefore causing you to have a full bladder, and an urge to go, but being unable to!.
As far as your current problem, I'm only a student nurse, but I have two guesses as to what it may be!. Number one, maybe its a UTI!. You said you were checked, maybe the test was wrong, a false negative!. Number two, perhaps you have kidney stones, making urination very painful!.
Either way, I would definitely get rechecked ASAP!.
Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

not that I'm a doctor or anything, but possibly have them check your kidneys!.!.!.a urinalysis is a routine thing they most likely did alreadyWww@Answer-Health@Com
