me and my husband had unprotected sex few times in a matter of 2-3 days, 60h after the first time i took a morning after pill!.im worried i might be pregnant!. even tho we are married we didnt plan to have a baby yet!. i dont wanna stress too much cuz i know it migh delay my period!.
please dont write to me how irresponsible i was or that plan b is an abortion!.

I was recently in your exact predicament!. I took the Plan B pill approx!. 60 hrs after having sex!. And yes, we all know that no method is 100% effective except for abstinence!. But we both know that certainly doesn't help after the fact! What helped me (with the stress of waiting) was doing a little bit of online research on my ovulation cycle!. Ovulation is the best time to get pregnant, so I figured if I was lucky enuff to avoid those days, then my chances of avoiding a pregnancy would be even greater!. WebMD has an ovulation calculator that you can use if you know the exact dates of your prior periods!. http://www!.webmd!.com/content/tools/1/cal!.!.!.
Enter the dates of the 3 periods u had before you had sex with your husband and the calculator will tell you when you should have ovulated!. (If you enter the dates it asks for, it will predict your next ovulation date, which is no help at this time!.)If you didnt have the unprotected sex during ovulation week, then your chances of getting pregnant are reduced because that's the "fertile" period!.
Implantation doesn't occur for approx 72 hrs after ejaculation, so if you took the Plan B after 60 hrs, and your health/body/cycles have been normal for some time, then there's a very good chance that it will work in your favor!. What I suggest is figuring out when your next period will begin!. If it's longer than 2 weeks away, then wait till it's been a week since you took the pills and then take a pregnancy test!. All pregnancy tests check for the presence of HCG, which is a hormone your body produces only while you're pregnant!. HCG can be detected as early as 7-10 days after conception, but it's not guaranteed to be detected until after 14 days or when you've missed your period!. If the pregnancy test comes back negative, there's still a chance that you could be pregnant if your body produces low levels of HCG that couldn't be detected early on, but it's also likely that you are not pregnant since it will have been nearly 2 weeks after the act!. Plan B? should be taken within 3 days (72 hours) of unprotected sex and can reduce the risk of pregnancy by up to 89%!. But the sooner you take it the more effective it will be!.

Plan B isn't an abortion all it does is PREVENT the egg/sperm from joining IF they already haven't!. IF they have (pregnant) it doesn't harm/kill the fetus!. The pill isn't meant to prevent preg for much longer than when you first take it, read the box it should say!. Or search online, there should be full instructions you can read over the internet!. Ok!.!.you have 72 hours after unprotected sex to take the pill!. You should be safe!!!! I've done the exact same thing you have with my husband!.!.so I get it! I lucked out and didn't get pregnant!.!.!.so I'm wishing you luck!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

well just because the name is plan b doesn't mean you are guarunteed a free ride!.
