lots of womens' periods start out a brownish color!.!.!.then turns to all red as the flow is at it's heaviest!.!.and then turns back to brownish near the end when period is almost over!. it's nothing to worry about unless it's a signifigant change from your normal period or there's any discomfort or odors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I usually get the brownish blood at the very beginning and very end of my period, when it is the lightest, but everybody is different!. As for the best kind of tampons, I personally like tampax pearl!.!.!.they are comfortable to insert and don't leak easily!. They come in a variety of sizes, including "lites" which are really small and a good size for a beginner to try!.
