Depends on how you gained!. If it was water weight, yeah, it falls off!. But I have friends whose BC made them pig out, and they had to work hard to get the weight off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The reason that most girls gain weight after using the pill is not because of the pill alone, but because the pill usually makes a girl have more cravings for food during her period than should would usually have!. Since you are having cravings due to the pill, you are more likely to eat more, and therefore gain weight!. Going off the pill would not help you lost the weight put on, but would merely stop the cravings!. The most weight you usually gain though is like 5 pounds, so I don't think its a big concern!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Actually, many women will blame birth control for the weight gain they get!. While it is sometimes listed as a symptom, probably because women complain it does, studies show that birth control has little to no relation to gaining weight!. So, probably not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You lose it if you are still eating and exercising right!. A lot of the weight you gain on birth control is water weight!. So drinking a ton of water, especially water w/ lemon helps flush the extra weight right off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I've gone off the pill a few times and I always lose about 5 pounds!. I'd have to imagine it's different for everyone!. If you are experiencing weight gain from your pill, maybe talk to your doctor about trying a new one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
