My boyfriend asked me to go swimming and i said yes but i just worked out that the day im due to go swimming im due on my period!. Im really not comfortable to wear a tampon!.

just tell him the truth, just be like "listen i dont really feel comfortable going swimming today" and if he asks why just explain it to him!. i used to be afirad of wat my bf would say when i talked about that but now its no big deal at all!. maybe eventually u can get used to tampons but theres no rush!. don worry periods stop when ur in water so jus clean urself b4 u jump in n it ll start back when u get out of water !. if not jus ask ur doc if she can give u some medicin to stop it for the 1st 1 or 2 days!. but if u ask her i guess even she might tel u tht its ok to go swimming !. have funWww@Answer-Health@Com

Just tell him the truth!. Far too many women use public swimming pools at that time of the month; it's disgusting(tampon or not)!. They should consider other users!.
