Try using a feminine shaving product that contains lidocaine!. Bikini Zone is one product that contains it but it suggest using it prior to shaving!.

Here is a site I found with some good advice and some (expensive!) product suggestions!. It is a dermatological site, so most of the products are a bit pricey, but the Sarnol-HC 1% probably isn't too much, or if it is, try Sarno!.!.similar product with hydrocortisone cream, just ask your pharmacist for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its better to shave down there, downwards!. because upwards is what makes it hurt because the razors are tugging at your skin!.
you can try waxing instead!. just leave it alone for a bit and let it grow and let it get un-irritated, and wax it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Best way is to use a bladeless razor with shaving cream such as veet!. Also, if it means a lot to you, you may want to consider waxing!. Even with daily care, it is still difficult to get rid of the rash with just regular shavingWww@Answer-Health@Com

i do it probably every 3 days, and shave down and up!. what i think works well, is doing it while in the shower so the skin soften and adding shaving cram not soap, to soften it even more and then shave!.!.!. i too hate the bumps and pain, what a girl has to go throughWww@Answer-Health@Com

Shave down then sideways(both left and right) Then shave up, and be sure to use either shaving cream or you can use conditioner too, then be sure to lotion it upWww@Answer-Health@Com

i have the same reaction to shaving!. i finally decided that altough waxing hurts and i am tender for a few days it is worth it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Be more gentle and try sideways!. I know it sounds weird, but that's what I do!. But the key word is gentle! It's sensitive area!. If this doesn't work, I'd resort to waxing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

wax it seriously!.
