Question: Discharge irregularity!?!?
OK so i am 14 n i had my first period on May 18!. it was just a lil bit of spotting!. Anyway, i have had discharge for 2 years and it has always been very very heavy!. the week before I got my period, my discharge was so light that i thought it had stopped! the the week after my period, my discharge went back to normal!. is this common for you period!? is somethig wrong!? i am not totaly freakin out but it just puzzles me!. thanks for your help! =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge (mucous) is normal!. The vagina is self-cleaning!. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused!. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away!. It will sometimes be lighter or heavier at different times during your cycle!. You are normal!.
Different Types of Discharge:
White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle!. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching!. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection!.
Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating!.
Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising!.
Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor!.
Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina!. Old blood looks brown!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

to tell u the truth, i had my period 3 days ago!. lol!. but, i had rly bad discharge too!. except, a week before my period it was REALLY heavy, and my period isnt a little spotting!.!.!.mines like the texas chainsaw masacre!. lmao!. but, my discharge is basically gone now!. i think its all different!. but if ur worried, ask ur mom (or any older female u trust) or c a doctor!. :) goood luckk!
