Should I go on The Pill for camp?!

Question: Should I go on The Pill for camp!?
So basically I have a 9 day camp in mid- July that's a pretty big deal!. It's all out in the bush- no toilets, no tents no nothing basically!.
Some of my friends are going on The Pill and I would like to but I suppose I think it's not worth it and girls who went last year said girls who were on the pill got their periods anyway!. I'm also scared of side effects!.!.!.

There's an increase in exercise, change in diet and so most girls will be guaranteed to get theirs on the camp (mine is due midway in the camp! eek!)!. The thing is, if I do get my period on camp it will just be so much more stress added and it's such a hassle! Then again I guess I could just live with it!.!.!.
So should I go on it or not!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
1) You body will need some time to become adapted to the pill!. Delaying the period using birth-control pills will probably not work on such a short notice!. Further, being new on the pill can create a lot of new problems, too, like nausea or tender breasts!.

2) You need to live with the period for your whole life!. Get used to it!. It's part of every girl's life!

3) Use tampons!. They are much more convenient and hygienic and will pose a lot less problems while on camp!. Tampons need much less size to carry around, are much easier to dispose off in camp and much less obvious to use!.

I strictly recommend not to start birth-control pills before camp!.

Only exception would be if you expect to sexual intercourse during camp!. Then this would be the right time to start as soon as possible (i!.e!. your next period!)!. Take some condoms with you anyway to be prepared for everything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It takes a couple months for your body to adjust to the hormones so I think it's too late!.

Getting your period is part of life!. You have to learn to deal with it!. Messing around with birth control pills to skip your period is a bad deal!. That's how pregnancy happens and how you get unwanted side effects!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your cycle won't be regulated on the pill by July anyways, so don't bother!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
