Okay i understand you put it in for 3 weeks and take it out for 1 week for your period, but sometime during that week your period is supposed to come, can you still have unprotected sex during that week and still not get pregnant!? even if the period hasnt come yet!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes you can have sex during your off week!. My period usually comes three days after I take it out!. Don't forget to put the new one in after a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can have sex, the drug does stay for a time, but I suggest abstaining for the latter part of the week because by that time the drug has worn off some!.

im pretty sure your body absorbs the "drug" just like it would a bc pill!. once your body gets used to this bc & as long as you use nuvaring as directed, then i would think the chance of getting pregnant would be slim - BUT there is always that risk!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
