Question: Possible yeast infection!?!?
ok i have a doctors appointment on tuesday for a pap smear (my yearly checkup) so i know she will check me over good and tell me what is going on but i am curious as to what this is that i have going on!.!.i smell really strong of yeast down there!.!.i dont really have any other symptoms except that basically!. i noiced it when i was changing a tampon while i was on my period i thought i smelled yeast and so i TMI WARNING-smelled the tampon and it was really strong of yeast!. i was like what in the world b/c like i said i have not had any other symptoms!. i just smell like yeast!. is this a yeast infection if i only have the smell!? also can a yeast infection make you smell bad down there too!. like after a shower i still smell bad!.!.and its not yeast it smells kinda funky!.!.i keep reading where you are not suppose to smell bad at all!.!.is this true!.!.could my ph be off and if so how do i correct it!? its embarassing to have a bad smell down there even when i wash itWww@Answer-Health@Com

It might be bacterial vaginosis!. (vaginal infection)!. Sometimes infections don't have ANY symptoms!. Usually yeast has discharge, so bacterial vaginosis could be it!. I had one and I didn't even know it!. No symptoms, my doc caught it!. Your doc will be able to tell you better, but you can also get a Vagisil Vaginal screening kit that tests your PH level, and can help you figure out what it is too!. I bought one of those to make sure my infection had gone away and my ph was back to normal after I had gone to the doc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
usually the symptoms are itching, yeasty smell, and sometimes pain!. also, it would look like cottage cheese!. kinda gross but yea!.!. thats it!. you shouldnt wear tampons if you got a yeast infection or tight clothes or underwear!. hope you figure things out!. later!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
