Question: Ladies, Doctor's & Nurses, Please HELP!!?
I went to the gyno in March and all my test were normal but I have been having a discharge with an odor! I think it is at its strongest the week after my period but it is pretty much constant!. I am not sure if it is just in my head or if the people around me can smell it and just don't say anything to me! I am really embarassed about this either way! What could it possibly be or what can make it better!? (After my boyfriend eats seafood, if we have sex it kind of smells like that the next day! I don't eat any kind of seafood) Please HELP and SERIOUS replies only please, it has taken a lot of courage just to put this question on here!Www@Answer-Health@Com

u make secretions to protect the mucous membranes of the vagina!. is it white to white-yellow!? thats normal!. there is a slight odor to it too!. the problem is when u have yellow to green, fishy smelling odors!.
the important things im seeing is you said ur tests came back normal!. disharge with a slight odor is normal!. and i am willing to bet that its blown out of proportion because its ur body and are self conscious!. body secretions from ur boyfriend could smell different with diet!. anyway i would relax if i were u! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't worry too much it is probably nothing serious!. It could just be a normal vaginal odor (it is normal to have a slight odor!.!.!.nothing really strong down there) and you could be more sensitive to it!. HOwever, if your worried about it call your OB/GYN and make another appt!. They can do a specific test to see if you have bacterial vaginitis!.!.!.basically when there is an overgrowth of bacteria down below and it is easily treated with antibiotic!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Could possibly be just a yeast infection, but if it smells like that, I would say it could be something bacterial or an STD (yes, it could be)!. Just simply call your gyno office, speak to a nurse, & explain your symptoms!. They will probably just have you come in to check out the problem, don't you really want to know if it is more than just a yeast infection!? I would!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Just talk to the gyn about your odor!. Lots of women have problems with feminine odor and it's totally nothing to be ashamed of!. They'll be able to help you out and tell you what the cause of the problem is!.

It depends on what the smell is like but women can get an infection called clue cell just from tooting in your pants and some bacteria from it can get into your vagina!. I know it sounds crazy but very true!. Once you smell clue cell you will never forget it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Probably a bacterial infection!. Go to the doctor and they can give you antibiotics for it and it will be gone in less than a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
