Question: My daughter's period has an unusaul color!?
my 11yrs daughter started her period and it ended two days early and the color was perfectly normal!. then 5 days later she had a discharge of a brownesh color what do u think is wrong!?oh yeah and this is the third time she had her period!. the previous ones are very normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's normal!. Nothing to worry about!. It's just her body cleansing itself of the blood that didn't come out during her cycle!. I have the same thing happen all the time and has for years!. Almost every month for 20+ years!. Been to the doc!.,nothing wrong!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I don't think anything is wrong!. when she first starts her period, it's not going to be normal for a while!. However, generally a period starts out very bright red and starts to turn dark red to brown towards the end!. Brown blood usually means it's old blood and it's probably still coming out!. I don't think anything is wrong!. However if it keeps on continueing after a few days I would probably call her doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Nothing wrong with her at all!. The vaginal vault can still have some blood inside long after the period seems to end!. Like all old blood, it gets brown or even nearly black!. Eventually it makes its way outside the body!. There's no reason to do anything about it, except introduce your daughter to minipads for just in case!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yr daughter is going thru puberty and there will be hormonal fluctuations!. Have her on a stable diet (view variations) made primarily of meat!. Have her take Calcium/Magnesium as her period started kind of early for her age (11 yrs)!. If not, your daughter height will be stunt as Estrogen & Progesterone can interfer with Growth hormone secretion and thus, she may be a "short" girl later on!Www@Answer-Health@Com
that is normal alot of time for a couple of days after your period ends you will still have a little blood that needs to come out and it will usually be a brownish color there is nothing wrong with her so dont worry about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
