I had the same problem!. With myself my body stopped creating a certain hormone!. I had tests to ensure nothing underlying was causing the problem and all the tests came back normal!.
I was put on the pill for years to regulate my hormones!. I only went off it recently to get pregnant!. I was worried I wouldnt get pregnant but got pregnant straight away!.
The only other thing I can think of that would cause it would be pregnancy or a miscarriage, which it sounds like has been ruled out by the sound of it with the ultrasound!. Speak to your Dr and ask for a blood test to determine whats up!.

you could have this rare type of cyst!.

if you havent had it in 8 months then you would be showing if you were pregnant so you arent pregnant!.
maybe you are stressing, losing or gaining weight!. all those contribute to not getting a period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe you're underweight or have some sort of iron deficiency thats stopping your body from making a period!. You're just a person who doesn't have regular periods, they should get more regular as you get older!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
