summer is coming and i am a bikini girl!. i wear them constantly!.!.!. my problem is, i can't find a good, effective way to get rid of hair "down there'', i have to get rid of it because i don't want it showing and coming out of the bikini!. I have really dark hair and whenever i shave, or even use hair removal cream, i still have stubble! and my hair is so dark you can see the hair under my skin!. i also get ingrown hairs there, how do i treat those!? and i get razor burn and its very uncomfortable!. any tips!? laser and waxing are out of question, im only 14!. and i haven't talked to my mom about it because I think she might think its slutty or weird or whatever!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i was going to say waxing because it is the most effective and healthy!. maybe you could find a way to buy waxing strips yourself without your mom knowing!? but im sure if you talked to her she couldh elp!. and if youre going to shave make sure to use shaving cream and a good razor!. you might want to use lotion after to aviod the bumps, but theyre hard to avoid!. hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I agree with Megan, I usually will use conditioner and that seems to help!. Also, they sell products (I've seen them at WalMart) specifically to treat the razor burn and ingrown hairs!. They also make special razors just for your bikini area!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
um buy some at home wax strips, or tell your mom you really want to get rid of it cause its gross (shell understand, trust me lol), or just keep shaving!.!.!. dont really know how to help!. how are you fourteen and have become a top contributor in mens health on Answers anyways!? just curious!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i shave it all off down there and when it starts to grown back and it gets itchy with ingrown hairs i put a salycic acid med on it (i pretty much just wipe down there with a oxy pad it has salycic acid in it)

i have the same problem!. i talked to my mom about it, and since it's usually just a few little wispy hairs that stick out, you can try trimming them instead of shaving!. best of luck

Try when you shave you shave with the blades going the way you do when you shave your legs go the opposite direction!.

Trimming the edges is very normal and your mom will not think it is slutty!. I am 20 and I have always gotten really bad razor burn from shaving!. Don't shave against the grain, that makes it a lot worse, I shave with conditioner and that helps me, as for the dark stubble sorry I dont know!. Bet a bikini top and a cute boy shorts bottom, the short bottoms, and skirted bottoms are in style, then you wont have that problem!. Its really embarrassing to tell your mom, but just tell her exactly what it is for, and she will completely understand, she shaves to ya know, and she probably did when she was 14Www@Answer-Health@Com
