Everything depends on the Dr!. But the main things that they will do is have you change into a robe that opens in the front and take off everything underneath!. Then when they come in they will feel your breats and under arms to make sure that there are no lumps or abnormalities!. Then they cover your breasts and have you put your feet in the sturups!. You then have to scoot to the edge of the table and let your knees fall open and relax!. They then put a metal object in you that opens up your vagina some, then they take this swab thing that looks like a mascara brush and the brush the cervix, you can feel it but it doesnt hurt!. Then they will that out and lube up their fingers!. They stick their fingers in you and press on your stomach to make sure you ahve all your body parts!. Then they are done, tell you to get dressed they leave and come back when you are!. They then come in and talk about anything that you want to talk about and discuss concers they may have!. Then you are done and they call you in a week or so to go over your pap!. Some drs make you pee in a cut before the exam!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I just went to the gyno a few months ago to get b/c!. If it is a routine/normal visit they will do a pap smear and feel inside you to make sure everything is ok, they will check your breast for lumps, ask for your medical history, ask if you have any problems or pain, etc and that's it!

You'll wear a paper gown that opens in the front!. They'll have you scoot your butt all the way to the edge of the table as you lay on your back, and it's a quick procedure!. They lube up two fingers of their gloved hand and stick em in you and press down on your abdomen!. They're not there to judge you, they are just checking for illnesses and abnormalities!. They also use a speculum that looks a lot like this!.!.

It opens you up a little bit, and will feel uncomfortable, but only lasts for a few seconds while they stick a cotton swab in and take some cervical cells (just by swabbing, nothing painful!)!. Then they feel your breasts for lumps, all the while talking to you!. Just relax and make conversation!. try to relax! once you are finishsed with it you will realized it wasnt as bad as you thought!. they just ask you to put your butt at the very end of the table and they put your feet on things like you are going to have a baby and they just stick a little plastic thing in that clicks and they look around and take it out!. it takes probably about 2 min!. it doesnt really hurt its just very awkward!. thats the only bad part about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
