My advice would be to go to your nearest Brook clinic!. www!.brook!.org!.uk They're really private and it is possible to sign up with fake details!. You can also choose whether they're allowed to contact you and whether they can do it by text or post or whatever!. And they're not allowed to tell your parents anything without your permission!. You can go to other clinics such as PACE if there isn't a brook near you - Just google it!.

They'll happily put you on the pill!. The most common type is the combined one!. From my experience they give you a three month supply in a box!. You're supposed to take it for three weeks then take a break which is when you have your period but if you miss the break and start the next pack then you won't have your period!. This is totally safe and was what I was advised when I went to see them!.

You could do the same at your doctor!. If you go to the brook don't tell them it's just for periods!. Just tell them you wan't the pill and they won't ask that many questions!.

Hope that helps!.

EDIT - I've just read somebody elses answer and would like to add - The brook don't make you have a pap smear and they will give them to you on your first visit!. And you don't have to pay for anything!. Everything's free!. On the NHS!. Also they have loads of good leaflets for you and will talk you through everything if you're confused!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you go to a health department or free clinic they have a confidentiality that they have to follow!.!.!.which means your mom would not be able to find out, because you are the patient and they don't need parental approval to see you!. You can't just buy them over the counter they have to be given to you as a prescription and the health dept or free clinic gives them for free or a very small donation!. Also know they will not prescribe pills to you if it is your first time on them unless you have a pap smear done first, just so you know that as wellWww@Answer-Health@Com

You are confused alright!. You are 14, this is something you should never be interested in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

dont ask her

go 2 the doctors and tell them, they will put you straight o it no bother and your mum doesnt have to know anything about itWww@Answer-Health@Com

you can get any of them just as long as you see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
