I don't even know how to ask this properly...?!

Question: I don't even know how to ask this properly!.!.!.!?
Well, about half a year (September - February) I was on an insane diet!. About February I somehow got an epilepsy seizure and after that I started missing periods!. I've never missed a period before - everything was great even when I was dieting!. Right after the seizure I've been diagnosed with anorexia (it's not a very serious case, though) and I was eating about 1800-1900 calories a day, consuming everything neccesary (protein, veggies, fats!.!.!.) and eating completely right ever since!. When can I expect my periods to 'return' again!? I know my cousin didn't have her periods about 6 months after depression, but it still freaks me out!. Maybe I'm supposed to improve my eating habits somehow!? Do something specific maybe!? Thanks in advance!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that it's wonderful that you are taking control and trying to get as much information as possible!.

It will take you body about six months to replenish itself!. You might need to see dietician in order for her help you work out an eating plan!. A lot of ladies who are recovering are scared about getting "fat" and that will help you know that you are eating healithy and won't get fat!.

But there a lot of support groups who are able to help you with a healthier lifestyle!.

Congratulations for taking charge of your own life!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have a friend of the family that had this problem, and she was trying to get pregnant but couldn't because she was so sick from being anorexic!. She was put on a diet to gain weight and it took I think close to a year for her period to come back!. She was Really sick though!. I would assume it would be less than a year because it sounds like you got help pretty quick, have you tried talking to your doctor about this!? That would be your best bet!

Good Luck! I'm glad you are getting healthy again!Www@Answer-Health@Com
