Usually after you've had you're period, right before you're about to have your monthly cycle you'll spot little brown spots that is actually dried blood from the month before!. However, your first period comes all at once and is bright red!. Wait a few days to see what happens and if it doen't continue then you most likely just missed a spot whipping from a bowel movement!.
