Awkward question (girls only!)?!

Question: Awkward question (girls only!)!?
My friend was too scared to ask this herself, so I'm asking for her!.

She's telling me that ever since she had her period, the outer part of her private area just sticks out and causes her to get uncomfortable at times!.

Is this normal, or does she need a doctor!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
if you are talking about the lips of the labia, the labia minora!. its normal for it to stick out some depending on the unique physique of hers!.

she should start wearing some looser fitting underwear and see if that helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Hello, and no this is not normal!. Your period shouldn't do anything other than make you bleed a little and maybe have some cramps!. After your period you should look just like you did before you started!. She really should go and talk to her Mom about this,, and then they can decide together whether or not she needs to see a doctor!. And she shouldn't feel bad about talking to her Mom!. Moms expect this kind of things when their kids start growing up!. Please have her talk to her Mom or older sister,, they would be able to help her alot more than we can!. Talk to someone who she can be more specific with!. An Aunt, a cousin,, she really needs to talk to someone!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Your growing up kid!. It happens to all yall chicks!. Dont yell at me for being a male!. But they have surgury for that, its called labia reduction, and is most commonly done by young girls who play sports or active things, or females who just are not content with their "area" as you call!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Does she use tampons !?

She probably incorrectly used them or something!. If she doesn't, ask her, if you can, if she's been doing any other business down there besides caring for her period!.

Go see a doctor and ask about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You mean her clitoris!?
If it's that, then it doesn't have anything to do with her period!.

And since it's making her feel uncomfortable, I think that she should see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it's causing her discomfort you should tell her to seek a doctors advice, it shouldn't be painful or change like that after a period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

what do u mean it sticks out!? like the lips or what!?
it doesnt sound normal but it could be but if anything is causing them pain go get it checked out!Www@Answer-Health@Com
