It's not abnormal; it sounds like she developed a urinary tract infection (these are associated with sex, but not especially with losing your virginity)!.
The symptoms of this are a burning pain on urination and crampy pain over the bladder!. The prevent UTIs, women should try to urinate immediately after sex; and drinking lots of water flushes out the bacteria!.

orgasms can cause your womb to contract (thats part of the reason why they tell you to have sex to bring on labour) so that could explain that one!. I never bled but I was quite achy for a few days afterwards, and it did sting a little when I peed butr that was all because it was quite intense!. If you are concerned about her health why dont you suggest that you both go and get checked out at your local family planning clinic, just to make sure (with you offering to go and not saying you think she might be the one with the problem she might be a little more open about the suggestion)!.

You may be sore for a while!. You may not neccessarilly bleed after sex for the first time if your hymen has broken before!. In some girls this occurs at the beginning of puberty and can also happen during activities like horse-riding!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
