Hi! I am a midwifery student, and have been a nurse for 20 years!. I believe that you should see your GYN provider!. If you are not feeling so unwell that you feel faint or dizzy, then you can wait until Monday, but you should be seen then!. They will probably want to do an ultrasound to look at the thickness of your uterine lining!. They may need to put you on birth control pills to lighten your periods, or may need to do a D & C to clean out your uterus (and they may need to do an endometrial ablation while they have you under anesthesia)!.
If you are soaking through more than one pad/ super tampon every hour, then you may want to go to urgent care or the ER!.

Sometimes, your hormones can get just a little screwed up to cause this excess bleeding!.

Good luck, and I hope you feel much better!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well I am not a doctor or nurse but when I was younger I has HEAVY bleeding, but I didnt have 3 periods in that amount of time!. You really need to call the doctor and make an appt!. and ask to talk to a nurse as well!.
If you are filling a heavy pad in less than an hour and are feeling dizzy and weak you need to go to the ER to make sure you arent losing enough blood!.
Good Luck hun hope you feel better soonWww@Answer-Health@Com

Same thing happened to my sister!. The doc put her on birth control and it straightened everything out!. She only had to be on it for 4 months!. But if you are already taking birth control, then I don't know!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. But it had something to do with hormones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
