Ok so this is embarrassing but i have scars on the underside of my penis, in the middle and bottom down the the top of my sac on my penis is all scars!. i started getting really itchy down there at age 8 from jock rash!. I have had it since then and i am 14!. I want to go farther with my girlfriend if you know what i mean (as in 3rd base)!. there is scar tissue where i explained that makes it look a little darker than the rest of my penis!. On top of that there are scars that look like someone poked me with a needle a bunch of times ( kind of parallel to my shaft, like the position the needle is when you get blood taken!. But the problem here is im very self concious about this and im afriad that my gf will think its gross or weird or that i have herpes!. So gals please tell me, is it gross and weird, would you never go near it!? if your bf had it would you break up with him!? please tell me the truth! Is penis appearance a big deal!? She may very well ask, but to make things easier for you - I think it's better that you tell her before moving on!. It's really no big deal to me - every man's penis is different and honestly, the darker tissue has nothing to do with its appearance - I don't think I've ever seen a mans penis be the exact same color throughout!.!.!.!.!. so don't worry about that!. As far as it being gross, if a woman really attracted to you, they'll accept you with all your flaws - that's a part of being in love!. Here's a suggestion: Vitamin E Oil works great on scars!. Firstly, I am assuming that the scar tissue formation you refered to is from incessant scratching!. If you haven't already done so you should ask your GP for a referal to a dermatologist, who will be able to advise you on the best course of treatment for lessening the visability of the scars!.
Secondly, from a purely asthetic point of view, penises - like people - come in all shapes, sizes, and appearences!. It is normal for the underside of your penis to have a darker colour skin than the upper side, this is called the "raphe scroti"!.
Finally, discuss the matter with your girlfriend before being intimate so that she is aware of what to expect, because it would not be a pleasant experience for either of you for her to get a "surprise" during the throws of passion!. It really varies person to person!. Most women I know don't really look all that closely at it, beyond size and general shape, except when performing oral sex!. It *probably* won't be all that big a deal to her, or most other girls, provided you explain that it doesn't come from a disease!. Either way, until you are in a committed long-term relationship, many years from now, you should be using a condom!.
