Okay sweetie, For your first time there could be different signs for everyone!. I mean for me it feel like i was peeing on myself, and then came the cramps the back aches, headaches the fact that I wanted nothing but chocolate and something salt the week before I started!. If you think that you maybe getting your period, you can talk with your doctor and ask him or her for more information and it will be between you and the doctor!. And p!.s!. it doesn't hurt if you ask your mom for advice as well!. Cause I asked my mom and we had a woman's day and we went shopping went to dinner and got ice cream afterwards!. And we talk alot about having a period and if I wanted to start having sex!. If asking or talking with you mom is to much the go to your doctor and allow them to explain it to you much better then some website or your friends!. I wish you all the best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You will feel cramping in a way you've never felt it before!. Mentral cramps are pretty distinctive!. They occur in your lower abdomen!. Also, mood swings and changes in appetite are also a sign!. All women are different though!. You might have barely any cramps, but become very moody, so you could just get really crampy!.
You will most likely spot at first, and it may be brown in color!. A few days into your flow, it will be more red, and then brown again toward the end!.
Know that during your first two years, your periods won't be regular!. You could get it, and then not have it again for a few months!. That's totally normal!.
Just stock up on midol, pads and tampons, and don't be shy about asking your mom questions :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

it's different for every girl but cramping, bloating- like your pants feel all tight this is when your body retains water and drinking water and Midol w/ a diuretic can sometimes help, pms (crankiness and sensitivity sometims sadness), you notice blood when you pee or in your underwear, some girls get the munchies for sweet foods or salty foods sometimes!. some girls get these symptons (some of them all of them or just one) either really bad or really light or some where in between!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
