You are awfully young to be starting birth control!. But I guess you should talk to a gynecologist about it and they will know if you are definitely too young or not!. I know that if you are 13 you are still in the later stages of puberty, which messes with your hormones and then to have even more hormones in you because of the pill will really mess up your emotions and your rationality!. I am 20 and on the pill and it makes me so moody and randomly depressed or anxious about stupid stuff!. So I couldn't imagine being 13 and having all that on top of it!. Well if you are planning to become sexually active in the near future then birth control would be a good idea OR if you need it because your periods are going crazy then you should go and see your Doctor about that as well!.
