i just had a baby boy on march 17 so he is almost three months old is its OK that it still hurts to go to the bathroom and have sex!? i dont want to go to the doctors if this is normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had a baby 2 1/2 years ago!. I would say going to the bathroom shouldn't hurt!. As far as sex goes, you should probably be able to have sex comfortably but if your hurting when you use the restroom I can see how it would be uncomfortable to have sex!. It does sound like a urinary tract infection, I'd definitely check with the doctor on this, hopefully you're just taking longer to get back to normal but I'd sure check it out!. I would suggest you go and see your Doctor about this!. Get him/her to check things out downstairs to make sure you don't have any sort of infection!.
When you gave birth, did your Doctor have to cut you or not!? As sometimes that area can get infected, I know only too well about that one, as it happened to me and gee's it hurts alot!.

Its a urinary tract infection - see your gp who can prescribe a cream for you to clear up the source of the infection!.
