Question: Can a cyst on an ovary affect the menstrual cycle!?
I have a cyst on both of my ovaries, and I usually take birth control to keep them from growing I guess!. The last couple of months I have not been on birth control b/c I have to meet with my doctor b4 getting another prescription!. I've noticed that since being off the birth control, my ovaries hurt more on the first couple days of my period!. Not only that, but I don't bleed as much as I usually do!.!.!.It's VERY light!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
