When should I expect my period to end?!
Question: When should I expect my period to end!?
I had my first depo provera shot on May 12, 2008!. Two days after that, my period had stopped!. Then on May 24, 2008 my period started again! today is June 1, 2008 and i'm still bleeding >:-(
The bleeding is very light and isn't enough to take up a whole panty liner, yet it is still very annoying!. No one told me of this side effect at the doctor!. All they told me was that I may gain weight or have blood clots but that the blood clots were very rare!. Have any of you ever experienced this!? If so when did your bleeding stop and what else should I expect!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I honestly don't remember how long I blead for when I first went on depo, but eventually I wound up only spotting for a couple of days every 3 months (which was great)!. Anyway, irregular bleeding is certainly associated with it!. You can't do anything about it now in any case for at least another 8-9 weeks, but if it doesn't clear up and it doesn't suit you, discuss other options with your doctor!. They will be irregular for about two years then they should last about a week, and then you will have a break of 28days (ish) and then you will have another period!.
