Question: How long after you first take birth control until you can!.!.!.!.!?
How long until after you first start birth control until you can have sex and be SURE that it is in full swing and that you wont get pregnant!? I just began taking it this morning and I know it takes a little while to truly kick in, but when is it ok for me to have sex and know that it is fully working!? one month!? two months!? usually its one-two months but know that you can still get pregnant while on birth control so be sure to use condoms as well!. my best friend got pregnant when she was using just birth control and she was very religious with taking it everyday at the same time!. so just know it can happen!. its only 98% effectiveWww@Answer-Health@Com
If I take a break from the pill and get back on, I always wait a month and make sure I take them at the same time every day before I decide to make a risk!. Your doctor will most likely tell you 15-30 days!. But to be sure, 30 sounds about right for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
