Question: Swtiching from birth control pills to NuvaRing - did it change your sex drive!?
I have been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen for over 8 years (I've been taking Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo for the last year)!. My sex drive gradually declined over the years from the pills!. I am looking into Nuvaring!.
If you were also on birth control pills and switched to NuvaRing, did it increase your libido!? I need to get my libido back!!!
I cannot handle IUDs like Mirena (gives me cramps) so that's not an option!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I switched from Ortho Tri lo to the nuvaring!. I was on the nuvaring for about 6 months!. It took away my libido and made it harder to orgasm!. It also gave me a thick discharge all the time and made me feel anxious all the time!. The reason I stopped taking the pill was because I always forget to take it!. I am off of the ring and back on the pill now!. My libido has come back!. Some women love the ring, just give it a try, it may work for you and you may love it!. Otherwise switch to a different pill, like yaz or alyse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
When I switched from the pill to the ring, the only thing that changed was I put on about 5 additional pounds!. I however was not informed that it would delay the start of my next period by a week!. Other than that no other changes or side effects that were different from the pill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
