Will it come?!

Question: Will it come!?
First, my period has been regular ever since I first got it (with a couple exceptions, but it always came)!. This month!.!.!.nothing! I'm about a week late!. I know I'm not pregnant, because I am not sexually active!.

I have been working out more and have been a little stressed, which I know can affect it!. I get cramps like it's starting but it doesn't!. Anyway!.!.!.should I expect it to come, or will it just not come this month!? (I know!.!.!.hard to say over the internet, ha)!. Also, out of curiousity, what happens to the blood if you do skip a period!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It sounds like, since you have cramps, that your period will be here soon!. It is probably late because of the stress and missing 1-2 periods per year is o!.k!. If you're missing more than that you need to get checked out!.

As for what happens to the blood if you skip a period!.!.!.It accumulates in your uterus and stays there until you ovulate and have a period, or (even without ovulation) the blood gets too thick and heavy and sloughs off, giving you a heavier period than usual!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Stress, and excesisve working out can cause your period to be late (When i'm stressed i get late, which makes me more stressed as i am sexually active haha)
If you work out too much and your body fat % goes down to low you will stop getting your period all together!. (IF you get way too skinny) but unless you are anorexic this shouldnt the case!.

If you go more then a week late i would go to the doctor, just to make sure it's not something more serious!. But my bet is on the stress!.

I'm sure you are fine/

Yes!. If I were you I'd wear something just in case!. If you do skip nothing happens to the blood, it just stays in you!. Don't worry too much even if you do skip!. If you skip more then once go see a docter!. Your body fat percentage may have dropped too low depneing on the amount of exerciseWww@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes your period skips every now and then!. I don't know many women who have consistent periods all the time!. It isn't something to be worried about if you aren't sexually active, honestly!. Just give it time, it's working itself out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well i had this problem also, mine didnt come for 4 months, because of stress!. i had to be placed on birth control to regulate my hormones, period & moods!. Maybe you should ask your doctor if youre worried but i wouldnt be at this point!. just try to take it easy kay!?

good luck with whatever is stressing you by the way =]

because you plan everything around it right!!?
ha well i would still expect it to come!.
and yes working out slows it down!
Hope you don't get too too stressed!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes it skips because you may be new to it!.!.
Sometimes something you eat will stop your monthly visit :P

once i got mine then 2 months later i got it again, if you dont think im right, go see your doctor, theres nothing for you to be ashamed ofWww@Answer-Health@Com

the exact same thing happened to me
i was exercising like crazy
and becoming almost anorexic by barely eating
and i skipped one, and i was kind of worried

if it doesn't come its fine nothing is wrongWww@Answer-Health@Com

Stress can have alot to do with it!. I have skipped periods before because of it!. You can always go to the doctor if you are worriedWww@Answer-Health@Com
