What is this health problem?!

Question: What is this health problem!?
So i read in a magazine something that caught my eye!. It was so similar to what i think i might have!. So it was about how millions of women in this world cannot have sex because it just hurts so bad when anything is put "up there" even including tampons!. And these are exactly the feelings i experience when i attempted to try having sex but i never been able to because it would hurt so bad!.
So what is this "disease" or whatever it is called!? and what are some more things about it!?
I am 17 years old I'm concerned because i really want kids in my life, but what if i won't ever be able to have sex!?
It makes me kind of depressed!.
It also said that it is also associated with mental problems!. Which i have several of so lets not go there!.
I have trust issues, and i am very paranoid!.
Could these be reasons why i tense up and hurt when i try to do it!?!?
Please Help!
Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay first off I don't think you have a disease!. I think you have an intact hymen and you are nervous and tense up when you have sex and that's what is happening!. For most women having sex the first time hurts, some it hurts a lot and some even bleed!. I could not use a tampon until after I had sex and it hurt alot the first few times!. Before you start thinking you are sick, try a few things, like get yourself some personal lubricant, astro glide or something from CVS see if that works and try to relax when you are having sex!. You can also use this to help you insert a tampon!.

What you may be talking about is frigidity, which is very rare and is not what it sounds like you have it at all!

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe the first step should be to visit an ob/gyn for a look to make sure it's all proper & functional!. Discuss your worries/concerns with the doc!.

If you've tried having intercourse and you're tensing up that could be a big part of it!. You could just be really worried about the discomfort involved in losing your virginity!.

Your partner needs to be very patient & gentle & make sure you're relaxed &!.!.!.!.!.well!.!.!.!.not dry, so to speak before he gets up in there!. Plenty of foreplay to the degree of you achieving an orgasm before he's in there would help alot!. That said, when the time comes for him to actually insert himself, you have to let it happen, not allow yourself to make this molehill a mountain!.!.!. get it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Anxieties can cause you to 'tighten up' and can make sex painful, also, what's going on internally at different times of the month can be a contributing factor, it's easy to say, don't get depressed over it, but honestly - don't, you are 17 and have many years ahead of you, as you seem to be aware of some issues you have, then try to find a counsellor or someone to talk with on a regular basis about your anxieties, to help you work through them!. If you pay less attention to your anxieties and worry and give more attention to relaxing your mind and your body, and ensure you are in a comfortable situation, you will find that the anxieties and fears will become less important and less noticeable and will gradually fade away over time!. Best of Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
