Question: Overexercising!? Muscle loss!? What do you think!?
first of all, I used ot br able to consume 2400 calories without gaining weight (my exercise regime used ot consist of cardio for 45 minutes and weight training for 30 minutes about 4-6 times a week)!.!.!.I still had my periods

NOw, after the holidays I started to put on weight, and got used to the regime, so now I do cardio for an hour and weight training for 20 minutes!. I do this 6 days a week and sometimes go in on teh 7th day and just do some cardio, only about half an hour!. I can eat 2000 calories and maintain my weight!. However, I've lost my period!.

Am I overexercising or is there another reason why my metabolism has sloweed down and I haven't had my period for two months!. (I'm not pregnant by the way)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Periods are weird!.!.!. People that are very active tend to skip periods a lot!.!. Possibly this new regime has thrown your body into "overdrive" so to say, and your body is reacting weirdly!. It's normal though!.!. Back when I was a dancer, I danced 5-6 days a week anywhere from an hour to 4 hours a night, and I only got my period like once every 3 months or so!. It doesn't mean your metabolism has slowed down- it probably means your metabolism has SPED up!.!.!. Anyways, I don't think you're overexercising!.!. You sound very healthy to me actually!. Don't worry about your period!.!. You're just very active :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You must never exercise 7 days a week!. It is because you give yourself no rest that you are losing your periods!. This happens to many female athletes though!. But really, you ought to work out 5, maybe 6 days maximum!. Even 4 days is good, spacing out rest in between!. Try not to do your cardio days on the same days as the weights!. Mix it up!. Look who's talking!. I haven't worked out for 4 years, and I used to be a 1/2 Marathon serious runner, till I got injured and decided to give it a rest!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would try to exercise 4 days a week for an hour and a half per day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes!.

I think you have to consume and lose the samething along the day!. When U lose calories, this calories isn't what u eat that day!. D;

Example: If you do lots of abdominal!.!.!. You will lose calories from ur abdom!. But what you eat, won't go specially to your abdom!.

So, eat a lot for dont "Muscle loss" and PIC exercises where u want to lost more "gordure"!.

For don't lose metabolism and keep healthy!.
It will take more time for u "be good", but!.!.!. will be more good than RADICAL methods!.

3 times/week 1 hour each!.!.!. That's what i did for almost 1 year!. I liked a lot!.!.!. Got muscles, and lose gordure!.

Now I'm good!. =]Www@Answer-Health@Com
