Question: Period used to last 4 days now only 2!?
Hi My period has always been very regular spot on 28days and would last at least 4 days now it is still 28 days but only lasts for a max of 2 is this normal!? Plus I have cramping and a little spotting for a couple of days after!. Is it just a sign of getting older I am 39 or could it be something else!. FYI we have been trying for another baby for nearly 2 years to no avail when with the previous children I fell straight away!.!.!. My doc says it is just that a woman changes with age and so do her cycles and egg production!. Anyone else experienced this!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes it could be that you are pre menopausal based on your age!. Your cycles start to change as you enter the meno pausal stage!. Very likely!. Ask your doc to check your hormone levels, that will tell what stage you are in and may be why you are not getting pregnant!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
General wisdom would say it is because of your age!. You have hit another age landmark and a reduction in the duration of your period is common among women in your age group!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
