Quitting Yaz questions...?!

Question: Quitting Yaz questions!.!.!.!?
First of all, I'm into my second pack of Yaz and I've had so many issues on it already!. I was totally normal while I was on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo (4 years) and now I'm all f***ed up!. I went to the clinic and the lady told me my blood pressure was up, and that my migraines made it so that I couldn't take a combined b/c method anymore!. She put me on Micronor, my question is, do I have to finish my yaz for this month, or can I stop and start right away on my micronor!? Also, I know I should have asked her, but I didn't and I have severe telephonic anxiety, so I am not going to call!.!.!.If I stop taking Yaz now, should I just wait until my next period, even though, technically, my period hasn't stopped since I started my new pack of Yaz a week ago!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm glad I'm not the only one that's had problems with Yaz!. After taking it for 4 months I had to stop, b/c I had such terrible migraines, fatigue, nausea, and cramps in my legs!. I told my doctor and she told me to STOP taking Yaz immeditaely, and she then prescribed me a new set of pills!. I started taking my new pills the Sunday after my next period stopped (so I wasn't on any pills for a couple of weeks!.) But you should probably call your doc anyway, but just FYI my doc told me to start my new pills the Sunday after my period started!. Best of luck to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is typically advised to finish out your current pill cycle before starting a new one (so take your full pack of pills, then start the new BCPs on the first day you would have otherwise started a new pack of Yaz)!.

However, if you think you just can't make it another month, I'd recommend stopping your pills now, waiting till Sunday to start your new pills, and just using backup contraception for the first week or so to be sure you're covered!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
