They told me I have to go pick up a prescription at the doctors office, but do I get it done there!? And how much does it cost!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh honey stay away from the Depo Shot please!. I didn't think they would still be using that after all they have discovered about it!. Let me tell you my own personal story!.
I had my son at the age of 20 and immediatly got on the Depo shot!. I gain in excess of 80 lbs!. in 4!.5 months!. This weight has NEVER come off!. My son will be 8 this month and I weigh more now than i did when i was 9 months pregnant!. And chances are the weight will never come off!. Plus, research shows that even if you go off the shot, any child you concieve within 2 years of going off of it has a huge risk of having serious deformaties!. Please find another birth control option!.

i was on it for about a year and it gave me lots of side effects; depression,lazyness,mood swings,tired,and more
BUT evryone is different but you do not need a prescription if your going to be doing them yourself!. you need to set up an appointment then youll get it done that same day!. at the office then you go in every 3 months!.
i also have a sister in law that takes the depo and she says its the only one for her im currently on ortho tri-cyclen and i DO NOT like it as it gives me cramps, mood swings, and head aches and also makes me tired a lot!. iv been on it for about a week so ill continue it unless these effects dont go away!.

DON'T DO IT!!!!!! Depo is the worst drug a woman can get on!. It causes serious side effects and long term effects!. Please research it!Www@Answer-Health@Com
