Well ignore the previous comment about tampons taking your virginity!. The only thing that can do that is having sexual intercourse!. As for your problem, you should try tampons designed for first time users!. They may call them juniors or the like!. Any brand that has them will work well!. You will need to change them every few hours still, but they should be more comfortable for you as you'll be doing more physical activities!. Plus you can swim with them! They package insert will have all the info you need on changing, inserting, etc!. If you are worried about leaks you can always wear a panty liner!.
Have fun! Periods should never interfere with life!Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok well personally i prefer tampons cos they are easier and not as yucky!.
read the directions on the box!.!.!.it will tell you everything you need to know about inserting them!.
i use tampax pearls!.!.!.they are plastic so they are easier to insert and comfortable!. if its your first time you can get the junior size and it will be a breeze using them!.

use tampons, they will change your life hahah!.

if you're starting out, use a slimmer tampon so it will go in easier!. such as playtex slimfits i think they're called!. i use tampax pearl and i love them!. the plastic ones are generally easier to put in than the cardboard ones!. when you put it in get in a good position to angle it!. i usually just stand up and slide it in!. as you're putting it up there begin to push the bottom!.!.!. don't push the bottom when you get it all the way up!. i found that to help when i first started using tampons!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes! use tampons!. they are so much cleaner than pads! the first time it will be a little uncomfortable so maybe you should start using them this period so you will be firmiliar with them when you go camping!. the plastic tampons are the best, dont get cardboard!. they are easier to put in!. also there is instructions in the box!. you should get whatever size is convinient for how heavy your flow isWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yes I was planning to do that when I go to camp, but I got my period this week!. You still should change it about every 4-5 hours!. Just change it at meal times!. I use Playtex Gentle Glide!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have to change ur tampons every 4-6 hours!. If you have it on for longer you're at risk for TSS!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

don't do it if your a virgin!. It will brake your Hymen!. It means you won't be a virgin anymore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Good for you!!! Being that you are 12, your periods are still irregular!. So, lets get you going here!.!.!.
Tampax has a box of various sizes!. They have jr absorbancy to super plus!. Try a box of them PLUS get an extra box of Jr's!.
First, try the smallest size tampon!. Unwrap a bigger one and disassemble it to see what it looks like!. There are 2 pieces of card board and a tampon on a string!. The card board acts like a "plunger" to help you insert the tampon!.
You can stand with your legs apart and take the tampon and inset about half of it in your vagina!. Then take your index finger and push the outer part of the "plunger" to insert the tampon!. If you can feel it, the tampon is not in far enough!. Take it out and try again!.
Good luck!!! You can do this!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
