Question: Embarrassing problem!?
I am a teen and have never had sex!.
I think that I have another yeast infection: I am itchy, it smells weird, and it looks a little red!. My mom is calling the doctor to get a pill to make it go away!. This happened a few months ago I think!. I am using Vagisil!.
But this is more embarrassing: near my butthole, like the crack area it hurts a little, not like a sore hurt, like an irritated hurt!. I looked down there with a mirror and it looks reddish and rough!. (not the hole, the area where it hurts) It has been going on for a few days maybe and I was wondering if it was related to the (possible) yeast infection!? Or is it something else!?

I know it's embarrassing, and it sucks!. After what you told me about the reaccuring yeast infections and the pain the your butt crack area I have to ask you!.!.!.do you wear thongs!? If so that is probably where the irritation is coming from!. Thongs ride in your butt crack, preventing moisture from escaping, this leads to irritation and sometimes yeast infections!. Contrary to popular beleif yeast infections aren't limited to your vaginal area!. You can get a yeast infection anywhere on your body!. So chances are the irritation in your bum crack is the same yeast infection in your vaginal area!. My suggestion is to stop wearing thongs for a month or so, let your body heal itself!. Then try wearing them again, if the yeast infection comes back you know that you can't wear thongs anymore!. If you aren't wearing thongs and my assumptions were wrong i still think that the two problems are related!. But go to the Doctor to be sure it isn't something more serious!. Eat lots of yogurt!. The live cultures in the yogurt attack the little boogers that cause the yeast infections!.
As for your STD question!.!.!.people say that you can't catch an STD from a toilet seat!. I believe differently!. Yes use the paper seat covers ALWAYS, but I also always carry some of that hand sanitizer with me and I squirt some on the seat and then wipe it off with some TP then use the paper cover!.!.!.just to cover my bases!. I don't wanna catch some nastiness off a toilet seat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might have hemorrhoids!. Are you bleeding at all when you go to the bathroom!?
You can usually treat hemorrhoids with over-the-counter ointments!. You can go to a doctor, if you like!. If you do have hemorrhoids, you'll want to sit as little as possible!. Lie down on your side or stomach until the problem goes away!. The medications usually work very quickly!.

Dont worry when you read this, but going to the doctor is the only way to know for sure!. They will ask if they can look 'down there', and dont worry, they will cover you up as much as they could, and they are proffessional so it wont be too strange and embarrassing for them to do!.
