No, unfortunately if you want all the medication to absorb you can't use a tampon!. It definitely isn't convenient, but use a pad while you are using monistat so the tampon doesn't absorb the medication!. Interesting, last time I had a yeast infection it was during my period too! My dr says it's because of the hormone fluctuations!. Feel better!Www@Answer-Health@Com
The monistat box says not to! The tampon will absorb the medicine and you won't get as much!. It will take longer to heal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
