my sister and mom got thier periods in 6th grade and this year im going into 6th grade will i have a chance of getting mine in 6th grade p!.s!. do heavier girls develop faster!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Since genetics play a big role in when you will get your period, it's pretty safe to say that it will probably come for you soon!.

No, not necessarily!. Girls develop at a different pace!. If it is hereditary, than you may start in 6th grade, or you may not!. My mom started in 5th grade and I started in 7th grade!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You probably will get yours then, but you may not!. My mom and I got ours in 6th grade, and my sister got hers in 7th!. She was a little bit thinner than me!. It does depend somewhat on your body structure/fat percentage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
