My Period Is Heavy & I Called Off Work?!

Question: My Period Is Heavy & I Called Off Work!?
AM I going to be fired!?

I've called off 3 other days because I had a serious cold!. I went to work wo days in a row and last night my period got EXTREMELY heavy and it was like this all night and its just not stopping!. My shift was 9 hours today and I work as a cashier at wal-mart!.

I didn't have a docs note for the other 3 days, but I really was sick!. I can't stand up and even with nighttime pads and a tampon the blood is gushing everywhere and I uniforn pants are khaki!. What if I were to have a leak!? The cramping is bad and I don't think I could stand!.

I called in already!. Am I going to lose my job!? They dont give us insurance!. Thanks!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I know what you are going through because I work for wm too!. If the three days you called off for the cold were together it will count as one absence!. It they were separate times and this will make your fourth in six months, you will only get a warning!. Don't worry about not having a doctor's note because they don't count anyway!. Your job is ok, but make sure you watch it for the next six months until the call off from your cold is off your record!. Then you'll be ok!. Otherwise the most you should get is a verbal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would hope that they wouldn't fire u but this sounds like a great reason to call off to me!.
Leaks are very embarassing but I would have went to work and left early!.Since u said that it's that bad & u cant stand up, I wouldn't give a care about!.Don't put uneccessary stress on your body!.Besides, when u r dead n gone, Wal Mart will still be open & the whole company won't be @ your funeral!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
