Question: Masturbation and Late Period!?
I know a lot of people say masturbation does not affect your period, but why does it affect mines!? I'm 19 years old and I've had my period for about 9 years now (I started when I was 10) and every time I masturbate I don't get my period for that month!. Now I'm very concerned since its been two months since I've had my period and I've masturbated in those months!. I've noticed a pattern for the last 9 years of my period that every time I masturbate I don't get my period!. I am NOT sexually active (never had sex with a guy) and I'm completely healthy so far, so why is this happening!? Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i'm guessing mensturation can be affected by emotional states, like if you are tense!. Perhaps when you masturbate, you become very relaxed and that delays your period!. But i'd see a doctor or other professional (or someone who has the same thing) just to make sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I can't imagine why masturbation would cause you to not have a period!. Worrying about it might, though!. You should ask your doctor about it unless you are too embarrassed!. There are a lot of medical sites where you could look for information, but don't go to any that are not well-known trustworthy sites, such as the Mayo Clinic or something along those lines!. maybe it has nothing to do with the masturbation!. youve never had sex and youve never given birth so your menstrual cycle is still "immature"!. maybe your periods are just irregular!.

A lot of young women don't have regular periods!. Especially if they are athletic, undereating, or under tremendous stress!. If your masturbation is causing you stress, maybe you should look into getting married!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
