Lumps in armpits?!
Question: Lumps in armpits!?
I have had lumps in my armpits before, but they always seemed to go away after something like 2 days!. Now, I have one rather large and one small lump in my left armpit, and i have a small one in my right armpit!. I've had them for about a week, and they are mild in pain most of the time, but sometimes they can hurt quite a bit!.
I'm a 17 year old girl!. I started using CertainDri antipersperant because i sweat a lot about almost a year ago, but it's never given me these swollen lymph node things since I started using it!. The antipersperant always made my underarms itch, especially right after i shaved, but that's the only side effect that i have had!.
What is wrong!? Does anyone else get anything like this!? I'm REALLY worried about it!.!.!.

Are you getting these lumps near the time your period starts!? If so that may be the cause of it which is why the medical community suggests not checking for lumps near or during your period!.
Estrogen is the body's natural anti-inflammatory, so if you are getting these lumps near or during your period it could be the cause of it since the body quits producing it during this time!.
May I also suggest that next time you shave your underarms you use your antiperspirent right as soon as you are done!. I used to have the same problem if I waited to put any one after i shaved, but it never bothered me when I used it right after, also using a new/er blade helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to go see a doctor!. It could be a swollen gland from something else!. You could also have an ingrown hair or some sort of cyst that needs drained!. If you sweat a lot it could be due to that!. Whatever the case you really need to go to a doctor and discuss it!.!.!.!.even if it goes away!. The most usual cause for underarm lunps is Mononucleosis (kissing disease) but with that you'd also have a temp!., be tired and feel off colour!. (in this case, go see your doctor)!.
So I'd guess you're getting newly growing hairs trapped under the skin, kind of turned in on themselves, like a pimple without the infection!. Mark one of the lumps with permanent marker, to see whenit's gone if there isn't a new hair in the middle of where it was!.
IF this is the cause, try to "skim" with the razor, not push hard, to leave the tips of the hairs at the surface, not pushed down!. In any case don't use the antiperspirant just after shaving, the itching is a signal that it is irritating the skin!. Put a moisturiser on the shaved area!.
IF you also use talcum powder, consider stopping, as many people just sweat more from it!.!.!.!.and it clogs the pores!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
