I was put on minocycline for my acne, and as a result I have a yeast infection!. Normally I would just chug some yogurt but I just had a tooth pulled and am having another removed in a week!.

Call the doctors office that prescribed you the antibiotic, and ask them to write you a prescription for oral Diflucan, a one time pill taken by mouth!. They will not have a problem giving it to you, as antibiotics and yeast infections go hand in hand!. That way you don't have to mess with yucky Monistat creams, or take the gamble that a probiotic *may or may not* cure you!. And I do not know of any probiotic "foods" that are not dairy based!.
P!.S!. I see someone said to get antibiotics to cure your yeast infection, you are already taking antibiotics, that is what GAVE you the yeast infection!. The last thing you need is MORE anitb's!. Since you just had a tooth pulled, your body is still healing and if you have an infection of any kind, this is not a good thing!. Go to the doctor and get a prescription for an antibiotic that will get rid of the yeast infection!. Make sure you tell them that you had a tooth removed and that you are taking minocycline so that they can figure out which medicine will work the best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Azo makes a product for yeast infections, but I am unsure as to whether it is just for prevention or treatment, too!.
I don't know of any other foods that can help you!. Usually I just buy Monistat or Vagistat or something similar!.

I don't know about probiotic food but you could get yourself to the pharmacy and they'll sort you out!. There are many products!. You can take an oral tablet and that'll sort you out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You can purchase some probiotic capsules at any health food store!. In the meantime, you should treat the yeast infection with an over-the-counter medication before it gets worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
