i dont really know cause im almsot 14 too and all my friends have gotton their period but you dont need to worry about getting your period late or nothing cause my mom got her period a few weeks before she turned 16 and my sister got it when she was 15 so you could just be late!. you dont really need to go to check out if anything is wong with you until your 16!. your supposed to get by then and ugh discharge, gross!. your probably gonna get it soon cause a friend of mine got discharge a month before she got her first period so who knows you might get it soon!. i guess!. if i were you though id b glad i dont got it yet!. you stink after you get it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may have a yeast infection!. I'm guessing white clumps and not red clumps!. Usually with a yeast infection you may feel itching and/or burning!. I had one when I was pregnant and I didn't have any itching or burning so it's possible not to!. They make over the counter medicine for it!. Right before I got my period I started growing hair in those private places!. When that happens, I would say within a few months you should get your period!. Hope I helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is normal, everybody gets it!. It is not nessecarily a sign u will get your period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, I would say that your first period is imminent!. Hard to say how soon, but by the description you have given of your discharge, I would ensure I carried a pad in my purse at all times because I think it will be very soon!.
Here's the research I did for you from the link below:
A good sign you're getting close to the time when your first period will arrive is if you notice a thick, white mucous discharge coming from your vagina!. Usually, this happens about 6 months before you get your first period!.

Between periods, the walls of your uterus get thicker with blood and tissue, which can act as a nice, soft cushion for a baby!. Once the egg reaches the uterus, if it hasn't been fertilized by sperm, the uterus doesn't need this blood-and-tissue cushion and it leaves through the vagina!. Ta dah! Your period has arrived!

Some girls wonder if their periods are normal!. No two girls' periods are exactly alike!. Periods can last from 2 days to a week!. Some girls have very heavy periods with monthly cramps, and others have much lighter periods after the first couple of days!.

It also takes a while (usually 12 to 18 months) for a girl's period to become regular after her first period!. You may get your first period and then not have another for a few months!. As you get older, your cycle will become more regular
