Question: Bleeding a week after taking PLAN B!?!!?
I had unprotected sex with my bf a day after my "normal" period ended; which was on MAY 26TH!. So, right after sex, we went to a pharmacy and bought PLAN B!. It was the first time I took it, everything seemed normal, until a week later on SUNDAY JUNE 1st, which I started to bleed again!. I'm so confused, it seems that Im having my period again, but it's weird because I was on my period LAST WEEK!!!!! Am I having my period AGAIN!? is it normal to be bleeding after a week I took PLAN B and had my normal period!?!?!?!?!? Should I expect my normal period to come when it should normally come!? Will I have 3 Periods in a month!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? How long should I be bleeding!?!?!?!?!? I'm so confused!.!. please someone help!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Because Plan B is such a high dose of hormones, many women get their period much earlier or much later than expected after taking it!. It's normal, so don't freak out!. Once your hormones even themselves out, you'll return to getting your period every 28 days or so!. After I took Plan B my cycle changed from 28 days to 32 days!.!.!.!.and hasn't returned to 28!. Not sure if that was just coincidence, though!.

It is normal for it to cause bleeding!. Infact, because of this pill that has to do with your hormones, it will delay your period and or make you have irregular periods for the next 2-3 months!. I recall having bleeding 2 times in 1 month because of the pill!. I did not experience any other side effects just delayed periods for time to time!. Do make sure you get a pregnancy home test just to make sure the pill was effective! Also, I would keep track of dates of when you bled just so you know how your body react to it if you had any questions or concern in the near future!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Plan B is a very strong dose of birth control hormones!. These cause the bleeding that you have the week after!. This should replace your normal period and yeah, it'll be heavy and annoying and last a few days, maybe a week even!.
You can check with your doctor about it and also get yourself a regular prescription for birth control pills!. Then you don't have to worry about pregnancy or take any more Plan B (which can be really annoying!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

The bleeding is normal!. It's because the pill makes your body shed the lining of your uterus, much like when you're on your period!. I took it once along time ago, there bleeding lasted lika a normal period, but I can't remember if my period came again when it was supposed to or if it came a month after taking the Plan B!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
