I'm 5'6" and only 118lbs, so if you're considered healthy weight range and 2" shorter than I, I must be sickly thin 0!.0 (I didn't mean that do be offensive to you, I mean that as in a 'you should be more than able to drop down to around my weight and stay perfectly healthy' way)

So long as you're eating right, not starving yourself, and working out every other day, you should be fine!.

I think its more than possible for you to lose that weight and get down to the size you want!.
However, it'll probably take 5-6months if you take it easy and take care of yourself!. Loosing too much weight to fast is dangerous!.

Also, when you work out, don't do the same thing everyday, maybe run one day, do crunches the next, etc Your muscles need to rest to stay healthy!.

This one will sound silly, but not all low-fat/no fat/diet/common diet foods actually help you to lose weight!. For example, diet sodas might sound better, but they have some icky risks!.
Drink lots of milk too! Milk tones and shapes muscles as well as build strong bones and help you lose weight!. 1%-2% milk is the best choice for that because your body will want a little of that fat to burn for fuel!.

Buying a size 9 pair of pants is a good start for motivation, just keep reminding yourself your doing it for you, and working out regularly as well as eating right will help you out in the long run, so your benefiting yourself all around and you'll look great :)

Cutting back on amounts isn't always how to do it,changing the food is sometimes more the answer!.My mom dieted like my whole life,nothing ever worked!.This last diet she went on was the first diet I ever heard her say that she couldn't eat that much!.They started her out on I think like 2,500 cal!. for the first month maybe until her metabolism sped up!.First time I seen her lose weight on a diet too!! She did have to change her diet a little but usually you have to cut those"carbs"Www@Answer-Health@Com

Why the Hell would you want to lose weight!?
It annoys me so much when people aren't happy with what they have!.

I'd love to be size 11!.

And yes I agree with the first person, sounds like the start of an eating disorder to me!.

Oh and also, Australian sizes are even numbers!.!.!. 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28!.!.!. I don't think I've seen higher than that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
