No, it's not true, at least as far as anyone knows!.
What is true is that there has been a study released recently that found that MEN's fertility might be harmed from keeping a laptop in their laps, because it elevates the temperature of the scrotum!. The scrotum is exterior because it is supposed to be cooler than the rest of the body (sperm don't like heat so much)!.
But I haven't heard anything about a laptop's effect on the ovaries---which after all are not on your lap!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try putting a thermometer between your legs and laptop to see how hot it gets!. You're probably exposed to hotter things everyday!.
