When you are sore and itchy! (what sometimes bring it on is: when you wear tight pants, or when you don't get air (hence cotton underwaer is good) circulating around there- also when you don't drink a lot of water-this brings it on for me - don't know about you) Even if it's not thrush it helps to minimize the use of douche and start the 3 day monistat course - or similar cream; when u use the restroom make sure you wash you hands and try using water as many times as you can, it helps to shower or wash down there properly when you get ready in the morning and before you go to bed or use moist bathroom tissue(no perfume tissue)!. more than likely you would have a thick white coating i am not sure about any other symptoms!. i had thrush in my throat one time after being in the hospital for over a week and having been on IV antibiotics!. have you had to take any antibiotics lately!? or i think a poor diet may cause it as well!. try webmd!.com that site would probably have your answer!. to re balance your system eat a lot of yogurt!. also, plain yogurt used on the inner part of your vagina will help to ease any discomfort and to help speed up the balance of the flora, which is the good bacteria which you need a balance of to avoid such things!. do not place the yogurt inside of you! women for generations have done this and even my dr!. has recommended it !.!.!. you wouldn't believe the Natural Cures that are available!. ive had that before when i was pregnant and i had itchiness,redness and a discharge and not to mention the smell!.hope i helped!.you can get canestan cream for it and you get a syringe with it and you put a certain amount in and its gone within a couple of daysWww@Answer-Health@Com
