Is this true...please help...?!

Question: Is this true!.!.!.please help!.!.!.!?
My mom wants to give my sister a haircut BECAUSE my sister is always claming that her head hurts!. My mom says that her hair, as it grows, takes up a lot of energy and that what causes my sister's headaches!. On the other hand, my dad thinks the opposite and he does not want my mom to cut my sister's beautiful hair!. Now, is it true that hairgrowth takes alot of energy, and it makes my sister's hair hurt!?

Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If hair-growth caused pain, nobody would ever get out of bed!. It doesn't take any physical energy to grow hair, and hair doesn't contain any nerve endings!. At all!. Ever!.

I'd say if your sister is bothered by constant headaches, then she should see a doctor!. It could potentially be serious!.!.!. But you'll never know until you see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have long hair and the weight sometimes hurts my head when it's been up in a ponytail for awhile!. If she wears a ponytail all the time then your parents should try leaving it down for a couple of days and see if that doesn't help!. Past that I think that your little sister should have a say in whether or not she wants short hair!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh wow!. lol No thats not true!. Hair growth is a natural body function!.
If hair growth takes energy away from you, than she might as well consider having your sister have laser treatments all over her body since there is hair that grows all over the body lol!.

Second, the headaches might be cause from migraines
Or she could be needing glasses,
OR it could stress!.
With women, headaches could be cause from anything!.
So yeah, your sister should go see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your sister has really long hair the weight can give her headaches!. Also, if she is wearing her hair in tight pony tails that can cause headaches occasionally!. If your sisters head is hurting often she needs to see a doctor, but it is most likely that her headaches are caused by stress or sinus problemsWww@Answer-Health@Com

This may sound over the top but my best friend has a 11 yr old daughter that was complaining of headaches pretty frequently!. They went to see a doc!. and just before they left (as an afterthought) they decided to do a ct scan!. Good thing they did because they discovered she had a brain tumor!. She had immediate surgery and it turned out to be cancerous!. Sounds like I'm exaggerating hu!? I'm not!. You really should get her to a doctor right away!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Your Mom is right, it is true, hair takes a lot of energy!.
My sister have the same problem the doctor say cut her hair and you see the change, I don't believe it at first but my Mom cut her hair and after that no more headaches!.

if your sister wants to keep her hair let her
just take advil or something for her headaches or see a doctorWww@Answer-Health@Com

i dont get what would makeher even think that lol, i mean c'mon!. So does her legs hurt, and her armpits hurt!? hair grows in alot of places, if that was the case she would be in pain everywhere, constantly !. LOL, i just have to laugh at thatWww@Answer-Health@Com

You have to take your sister to the doc, the headaches are not due to hair growth!.!.!.!. Sorry to say this, but how did your mom get such a thought!?!?
Please take your sister to see the doc ASAP!.!.!.:-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

More likely the weight of her hair is what is giving her headaches, not the energy needed to grow it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It the weight of her hair that is giving her headaches not energy being zapped from her hair growing!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your mom is nuts, dads right!
