Question: Ladies !.!.!.!.!.!.Is it necessary to DOUCHE often,or after periods!?
Is it necessary to douche often of can a woman go about without it !?!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Make sure to wash yourself frequently, but 'douching' is not a recommended way of dealing with the vag!. Remember that it's not supposed to smell like 'fields of daises' or 'amber romance' or fake stuff like that!. Unless you plan to be eaten out real soon, i recommend that you NEVER 'douche' because it isn't the best for your health!.

DO NOT Douche, it's like shampooing your hair twice and not conditioning it! Your vagina is a natural cleaning machine! It's PH balance is made to kill harmful foreign bodies!. I know that you want that fresh clean feeling, but what you can do it just lightly splash your vagina with water, lightly clean the insides with your fingers, which stimulates your muscles, and use a soap low in PH!. It is not necessary to douche to have fresh vagina!. Plus don't you want your vagina to taste natural and sweet, not sour!? Ive heard men complain about sour vaginas, not pleasant!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is not necessary for women to douche!. The vagina will naturally cleanse it self every so often!. The vagina has something called "normal flora"!.!.!.!.!.which is medical speak for bacteria that should be there!. This normal bacteria keeps your vagina healthy and protects it from things like yeast!. If you are douching it can rinse away this bacteria, which can leave you more vulnerable to an infection!.

If you are worried about odor, caused by sweating in the groin and thigh area!.!.!.!.!.try something like summer's eve feminine wash!. It is gentle, effective odor removal for your outer vaginal area!. It will not kill off any of the good bacteria!.

I advise a good cleanse through with a baby wipe rather than douching to avoid a build- up of smegma and generally stop it from smelling bad!. Don't use heavy soaps though when in the shower/ bath, this can only cause infection and dry out your vagina- your vagina cleans itself natually so there's no need for soaps etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my doctor and mother told me that doucheing is good but not to do it often because it can cause a yeast infection!. if you only do it after your period then it's fine!. but a hot shower is better after periodsWww@Answer-Health@Com

No it is not necassary!. The vagina is a self cleaning organ, it can clean itself!. Of course you should still use good hygiene!. Douching is unneccassary and actually is advised not to doWww@Answer-Health@Com

No! Douching is not good for your vagina!. Your vagina creates its own natural, healthy bacteria that keeps it happy!. Douching kills this bacteria and leaves you highly susceptible to vaginal infections!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not necessary, your body flushes itself!. If you douche too much you can get a vaginal infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

actually it's not necessary to douche at all because females clean themselves out naturally!. I heard that it could cause problems too!Www@Answer-Health@Com
